Eric Stevens has been our head farmer since February of 2010. Eric has long been involved in the Organic gardening/farming movement. He is very excited about this year’s growing season. Eric's wife Crystal also works on the farm.  She manages the greenhouse and handles some of the communication aspects of the farm such as the website and the newsletter.  They have a young son, Cayan, and an infant daughter, Iris.

Eric and Crystal started at La Vista in February 2010 and got right to work, sowing seeds in the high tunnel and transplanting into the field.  They bring with them passion and knowledge of the plant world. Their specialties include native plants, medicinal herbs, companion planting and gourmet cooking with seasonal vegetables.

     We are very excited to be a part of La Vista CSA again this season.  We have been working diligently since Winter to ensure that you will receive a bounty of fresh, local and seasonal produce throughout the season. We look forward to providing you with crisp greens, mouth watering strawberries, delicious potatoes, tender green beans, juicy, ripe heirloom tomatoes, and a plethora of summer squash.
